Are you looking for an emerging public safety career that offers the opportunity to excel in making quick decisions? This program is dedicated to equipping graduates with the expertise and confidence to thrive as a 9-1-1 Communications Officer. Students will use state-of-the-art 9-1-1 Reality Simulators to simulate the demanding, high-stakes environment of a Comm Center. Students are partake in controlled "chaotic" situations managing simultaneous emergency calls, radio traffic, and critical requests from first responders, ensuring they develop real-world, quick-thinking skills before they ever take a live call. Positions in this field provide competitive pay and excellent benefits. This program will be located at Franklin Heights High School, but open to all seniors across the district.
