Welcome to the SWCSD Adult Training Hub
The South-Western City School district continues to offer community adult training courses at no cost to participants! All courses will be based at the South-Western Career Academy. The goal for all of our adult programming is to provide the participants with the instruction, experiences, and skills needed to enter these in-demand career fields. Priority is given to applicants that are unemployed, underemployed, and those that plan to enter these fields as a profession. The students in each course will receive a certificate upon completion, outlining the skills mastered throughout the course.
Fall courses are wrapping up and we will be adding a winter session this school year. Beginning in January we will again offer Introduction to Automotive Maintenance and we are bringing back Electrical Concepts. Information night for winter courses will be held on Wednesday, January 10th. The classes will begin on Wednesday, January 17th and run for approximately 10 weeks. . All classes are held in the evening beginning at 5pm, typically on Mondays and Wednesdays. For additional information on these or future offerings please contact Denise Giesecke, Adult Training Hub Coordinator.
