The Technology of Automotive Diagnostics and Repair

Are you good at solving problems, using your hands, and working in a team environment? This two-year ASE accredited program is designed to prepare students for entry into the automotive industry and/or entry into an associate degree program in the automotive career field. While enrolled at SWCA, students may perform customer service working on client automobiles during the lab component using their skills learned in the program. During their senior year, eligible students may participate in Work-Based Learning, applying their knowledge in real-world repair facilities.

Additional Features

Students who successfully complete the two-year automotive program may receive advanced college credits through agreements with some of Ohio's community colleges, including Columbus State Community College.

Training in this program may lead to Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Entry-Level Certification
Students will participate in SkillsUSA, a student leadership organization integrated as part of the curriculum.

Hours: Monday-Friday 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. By Appointment Only
After Mid-October: Collision estimates available on Thursdays from 1:00-2:15 p.m. by appointment only. No vehicles older than 10 years
will be accepted for service.

Preventative Maintenance:

Oil Change - $5.00
Tire Rotation with Brake Check - $5.00 (Customer must dispose of old tires.)

All other services billed using professional flat rate labor guide time at $15 per flat rate hour.
