​Business Professionals of America Competition


Cyber Security Student Receives Full Scholarship

Congratulations to Cyber Senior Ariss Broom on being awarded the Choose Ohio First Scholarship! This prestigious scholarship provides a total of $24,000 over four years to support her studies at the University of Cincinnati.

As a scholarship recipient, Ariss will enroll in the School of Information Technology (SoIT) and serve as a SoIT Ambassador, participating in a range of professional and social programming events. These include engagement with an advanced cohort of IT and Cybersecurity majors, as well as activities through the Early IT Program.

Thanks to her scholarship and advanced academic standing, Ariss will join an accelerated program and mentoring cohort designed to support student success and promote opportunities for internships and co-ops throughout her college experience.

The University of Cincinnati is recognized as a leader in the field of Cybersecurity, and Ariss will enter with over 30 college credits earned through her time in the Cyber Program at SWCA where she was also a two time National Qualifier for Business Professionals of America.
