Auto Body Collision and Repair

Are you good at solving problems, using your hands, and working in a team environment? This two-year iCar Professional Development Program is designed to prepare students for entry into the automotive industry.  While enrolled, students will perform customer service working on client automobiles during the lab component using their skills learned in the program. Upon successful completion, students will earn Refinishing Technician Pro Level 1 Platinum Individual Recognition and Certification. The industry-recognized Platinum designation is given to collision repair professionals who achieve and maintain high levels of role-relevant training that contributes to complete, safe and quality repairs. Training to Platinum keeps professionals current on vehicle technology, improves their job performance and assists their career development.

Additional Features

  • Students who successfully complete the two-year automotive program may receive advanced college credits through agreements with some of Ohio's community colleges, including Columbus State Community College. 
  • Training in this program may lead to iCar's Pro Level 1 Certification.
  • Students will participate in SkillsUSA, a student leadership organization, which is part of the curriculum.

Open all days the South-Western City School District is in session.

Hours: Monday-Friday  12:30 - 3:00 p.m.  By Appointment Only
After Mid-October: Collision estimates available on Thursdays from 1:00-2:15 p.m. by appointment only. No vehicles older than 10 years 
                                     will be accepted for service.

Preventative Maintenance:
  • Oil Change - $5.00
  • Tire Rotation with Brake Check - $5.00 (Customer must dispose of old tires.)
All other services billed using professional flat rate labor guide time at $15 per flat rate hour.

Auto Collision Repair:
  • Detailing - $35 
  • Wash and Wax
  • Complete Vehicle Repaint on most vehicles - $300
Other Services:
  • Basic Brake System Services
  • Basic Steering and Suspension System Services
  • Maintenance Tune Up Services
  • Diagnostic Labor: $15/hour
