The Art and Science of Hair Design, Skincare, and Nail Care

​Do you enjoy putting a smile on others by making them feel and look beautiful?  Are you fashion-oriented and up on the latest trends? This two-year program is designed to prepare students for entry into a cosmetology career. During their senior year, students will perform all cosmetology services on actual clients in the The Cutting Edge, the school's working salon, thus improving and refining the skills and knowledge acquired as juniors. Program Highlights

Additional Features

  • Students who complete this program may take the test to become licensed by the State Board of Cosmetology.
  • Students will participate in SkillsUSA, a student leadership organization, which is part of the curriculum.
  • Students who successfully complete the Cosmetology two-year program may receive advanced college credits through agreements with the University of Akron and Columbus State Community College.
