T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education and Children's Health)

Would you like to prepare for a career that leaves a positive influence on children’s lives? As a student in the (T.E.A.C.H.) Early Childhood Education Program you will gain knowledge and skills needed for career opportunities in teaching at any age level, and related health and human service fields.   Students are provided instruction by a licensed Early Childhood Education instructor and participate in field experience (lab) in a childcare or school classroom, with a mentor teacher.  Students in this program attend all academic classes at their home high school and career technical class time and work-based learning experiences are held in multiple locations.  Opportunities are given to gain first-hand experience working with young children and developing skills for a future in teaching or related fields.
